Refund Policy

Construction Safety First values the safety of our customers and prioritizes it above all else. In light of this, we have updated our policy to emphasize safety measures for construction projects.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

As a customer, you have the right to cancel any services you have booked with Construction Safety First. To cancel, please contact us via email at info@constructionsafetyfirst.com or by phone. We will require your confirmation on the refund email to verify the cancellation of your order. Once verified, we will settle your account in full.

Please note that your payment includes an administration fee charged for the management service we provide as a third-party booking agent.

CSCS Card Cancellation Policy:

If you wish to cancel your CSCS card order with Construction Safety First, cancellation requests are subject to a £15.00 administration and cancellation fee. This fee includes communication with our executives, cancellation of the requested card, and the refund process.

If you cancel your order before card submission, you will be eligible for a refund of £40.00. Rest fee includes communication with our executives, follow-ups over emails for documents, follow-ups with CSCS, cancellation of the requested card, and the refund process.

However, if you cancel your order after card submission, you will not be eligible for a refund.

CITB Test Cancellation Policy:

As a candidate, it is your responsibility to attend the test on time and provide a valid form of identification. If you fail to attend the test on time, provide invalid identification, or fail the test, you will not be eligible for a refund.

If you contact us before we reserve your test, you will be eligible for a refund subject to a £10.00 administration and cancellation fee, which includes communication with our executives and the refund process.

However, if you contact us after receiving the booking confirmation, you will not be eligible for a refund or to cancel the test.

If you wish to reschedule the test, please contact us at least 72 hours before the scheduled test day and time. Failure to do so will result in full payment, including any booking fees or administrative fees.

Cancellation, Reschedules and Non-Attendance Course Policy:

If you wish to cancel your course reservation, you must do so at least 25 days before the course date. Cancellation requests are subject to a £25.00 administration and cancellation fee, which includes communication with our executives, cancellation of requested courses with the training provider, and the refund process.

If you want to reschedule the course location, you may be required to pay extra fees before we can reschedule the venue.

If you do not attend the course, you will forfeit the course fee. Please note that Construction Safety First will not be held responsible for any reason that prevents a candidate from attending the course, including bad weather or vehicle breakdown.

Books and DVD Delivery:

We dispatch ordered products on the same or next working day after receiving cleared payment. Books or DVDs are delivered by 1st Class Royal Mail delivery and will normally be delivered within 3 working days after we have posted your order. Please ensure that you provide the correct address information to avoid delivery issues.

Return Policy:

You have the right to return any book or DVD purchased from us and request a full refund of the price paid within 7 working days after the date of receipt of the goods.

Please note that the refund period of 7 working days starts on the day we receive your payment. The books or DVDs must be sent to the following address:

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse a refund or deduct an appropriate amount from the payment to be refunded if:

The product returned has been damaged or used.
Any parts of the training product are missing.
The product was used or shows signs of use.
The DVD has been opened.
The product has been returned or sent back after the 7 working day refund period.
